Remembering Ottawa's last streetcars

As Ottawa builds a light rail system across and under the city's core, it's worth noting the last time a streetcar madeits way across the capital's streets was nearly 55 years ago, on May 1, 1959.

ForOur Ottawa's weekly CBC Rewind, we look back at a story from 25 years ago that takes a closer look at the end of the previous version of light rail to cross the city.
