The CBC Street Talk team visited Rideau-Goulbourn - Richmond village- to ask: What would make your neighbourhood a better place to live?

From Sept. 22 to Oct. 23, CBC Ottawa will visit the 23 electoral wards in the city of Ottawa to get the inside track on the issues people are talking about on the eve of the upcoming municipal election.

Candidates running in Rideau-Goulbourn:

On Friday, Oct. 10the CBC Street Talk team was in the Rideau-Goulbournward to meet with you, the voters, andto ask: What would make your neighbourhood a better place to live?

Rideau-Goulbourn is a mainly rural ward in the southwestern part of Ottawa.

Scott Moffatt, the incumbent, is running for re-election. His only challenger,Dan Scharf, is a health care executive and a resident of North Gower.

CBC Ottawa asked all the candidates running for city council to record a one-minute pitch and tell voters why they think they're the best candidate for their ward. The pitches below are from those who participated in this project.
