Sam Tsega murder charge upgraded in Michael Swan shooting
Sam Tsenga, 22, now facing first-degree murder charge after 2010 death
An Ottawa man is now facing a first-degree murder charge in the 2010 shooting death of teenager Michael Swan.
Sam Tsenga, 22, was 19 when he wasarrested and charged with manslaughter in September 2010.
That charge was later upgraded to second-degree murder, but as of Friday that has been changed to first-degree murder.
Tsenga and three other men are accused offatally shooting Swan in his homeon Moodie Drive in southwest Ottawa in the morning of Feb. 22, 2010.
Kristopher Allan McLellan, 20; Dylon Tyrone Barnett, 19; and Kyle Mullen, 19, are also facing first-degree murder charges in relation to the killing.
