Police seek man accused of trafficking a minor

Ottawa police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for man they say is wanted in relation to trafficking a person under the age of 18 years.

Police say 22-year-old Jamie Byron is wanted on several charges, including living off the avails of juvenile prostitution and keeping a common bawdy house.

Byron, described as a black male with a slim build and short black hair, is known to frequent Ottawa, Barrie, the Greater Toronto area and Montreal.

Police say anyone who sees Byron should call 911 immediately.
