Ottawa man charged in fatal shooting
Eriklit Musollari, 22, charged with second-degree murder in Dynes Road shooting death
An Ottawa man will appear in court this afternoon on second-degree murder charges related to a south Ottawa fatal shooting after turning himself in to police Tuesday evening.
ACanada-wide warrant was issued Tuesday for Eriklit Musollari, 22, of Ottawa,on one count of second-degree murder in connection to the death of Peyman Hatami, 31,the city's third homicide of the year.
Hatami wasfound shot in the chestnear Dynes Road and Prince of Wales Drive in the Carleton Heights neighbourhood last Thursday afternoon.
Musollari wassaid to be considered armed and dangerousandnotapproached.
Ottawa police's major crimes unit continues to investigate.
