Active senior citizens from across P.E.I. are taking part in the 55+ Games this week.

Active senior citizens from across P.E.I. are taking part in the 55+Games this week.

The games opened Mondaymorning and will continue all week.

There are about 600 seniors taking part in the 20 events.

Events include hockey, curling, stick curling, badminton, pickle ball, bowling, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, walking, skating, auction 45s, cribbage, contract bridge, duplicate bridge, 8-ball pool, darts, spin cycling, table tennis, crokinole, and scrabble.
