Bay Road Bridge permanently closed to all traffic

Transportation officials say the Bay Road Bridge in Inverness, P.E.I., is closed because it can't safely support traffic.

The closure is permanent and will continue into the foreseeable future.

Barricades and signage are being installed to advise motorists of the closure.
