Fanningbank hosts annual Christmas open house

The public was invited to the annual Christmas open house at Fanningbank,Lt.-Gov.Frank Lewis's residence,on Tuesdayto enjoy live music and to view the holiday decorations.

Thelong-standing tradition gives P.E.I. residentsthe opportunity to visitthe 182-year-old vice-regal residence, and this yearLewis and his wife, Dorothy, welcomed guests and gave each one aCanada 150 commemorative pin.

The decorations were enough to make it feel like Christmas Day.

There were both traditional and contemporary Christmas decorations on display.

Carollers sang holiday favourites.

The music was provided bythe Canada Remembers Chorus under the direction of Darragh Mogan.
