Copper thieves steal 18 kg of pipe

Charlottetown Police are investigating the theft of 18 kilograms of copper pipe from a home on King Street, near Weymouth.

The house is under renovation and no one is living there right now, said police.

Someone managed to get the front lock open and broke into the house at night.

Police said they are seeing a lot of thefts of copper piping from older homes.
