Cows Creamery to open more ice cream stores in China

Cows Creamery was one of 56 Canadian companies that had deals finalized with China during Prime Minister Justin Trudeau'svisit to the country.

The P.E.I. company has announced apartnership withYintaiGroup to open ice cream stores in high-end shopping centres in eastern China.

Cows, based in Charlottetown, has plans to work with the Chinese company to develop online shopping and other projects across China.

Cowsopened its first shop in Beijing in 2014 and another this summer.

The company, whileknown for its ice cream, has also won awards for the cheese it makes.
