The 10th annual DiverseCity Festival will be celebrated in Charlottetown this weekend.

After the success of the 2015 event, the festival is moving off Victoria Row this year.About 12,000 people attended the event last year.

"We outgrew the old location. Last year it was very busy on the street and it's been growing every year," said festival co-manager Mark Carr-Rollitt.

"It just seemed like a good idea to expand a little bit."

The festival is not moving far. It will shut down two blocks on Queen Street, between Grafton and Sydney streets.

This year's event will have representatives from 23 different cultures, including music, dance, and probably every's favourite food. There will be 18 different food vendors, making it a challenge for anyone hoping to sample everything over the course of the eight-hour event.
