Feed A Family: Join CBC P.E.I. in support of local food banks

CBC Prince Edward Island is partnering with local food banks to raise awareness and donations to help make the season kind. Join us throughout December and help feed families in your community.

The Feed A Family campaign is driven by the caring and kindness of Islanders, making the holidays brighter for families in need across the province.

The number of people relying on food banks is higher than ever, and the need is even greater during the holidays.

No matter how big or small, every donation and act of kindness makes a difference.

Your community needs you. Here's how you can support:

Special Programming - Dec. 15

On Friday, Dec. 15, CBC held a day of special programming, including live broadcasts ofIsland Morning from the Upper Room Hospitality Ministry Food Bank in CharlottetownandMaritime Noonat Alderney Gate in Dartmouth.

Thank you to everyone who participated or made a donation. Because of your generosity, the campaign raised $87,051.42 and collected 1557 turkeys and 1163 poundsof food. And there's still time to give! You can donate until Dec.31 by clicking the blue donate button below.

  • This is the seventh year Receiver Coffee has supported the Feed A Family campaign with this unique blend, having raised more than $50,000 in the previous six years.
