Northumberland Ferries service resumes between P.E.I. and Nova Scotia

The ferry service connecting P.E.I. and Nova Scotia has resumed for the season.

There will be five round trips between P.E.I. and Nova Scotia each day.

The ferry service connecting P.E.I. and Nova Scotia has resumed for the season.

The service, operated by Northumberland Ferries, has five round trips each day between Wood Islands, P.E.I., and Caribou, N.S., until mid-June, when the frequency of trips increases.

The first ferry of the day leaves P.E.I. at 6:30 a.m., and the last ferry leaves Nova Scotia at 9 p.m.

This year saw a fare increase, with the cost for a passenger vehiclegoing up to $71, from $70 last year.
