Gas prices have increased by one cent per litre after an overnight scheduled pricing decision by the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission.

The price will be between 85.0 and 86.2 cents per litre.

Propane has increased between 3.5 and 3.8 cents.

IRAC said recent increases in the wholesale price of both gasoline and propane warranted the increases.

There was no change to the price of diesel, furnace and stove oil.

The next scheduled adjustment is March 15.
