The province has agreed to hold inquests into the deaths of three Islanders in two different incidents in 2013.

One inquest will look into the deaths of four-year-old Nash Campbell and his 37-year-old mother Patricia Hennessey of Stratford. They died in a vehicle fire on June 21, 2013.Police ruled their deaths a murder-suicide.

Sources told CBC news that Hennessey had lost custody of her son the day before.

The other inquest will be held into the death of 47-year-old Sherry Ball of Charlottetown. She died on Dec. 1, 2013. At the time Ballwas a patient at Hillsborough Hospital. Officials said she died suddenly and unexpectedly.
