Maritime Bus issues travel advisory with snow forecast

Maritime Bus has issued a travel advisory with the snowy weather expected to hit the region Tuesday.

Coming snow expected to disrupt regional bus service

Maritime Bus has issued a travel advisory with the snowy weather expected to hit the region Tuesday.

The worst weather is expected in parts of southwestern Nova Scotia and southern New Brunswick,with 15 to 25 centimetres of snow forecast. Northern areas of the Maritimes, such as Bathurst, N.B.,P.E.I. and Cape Breton are only expecting two to five centimetres.

Maritime Bus is warning travellers to prepare for delays and possible cancellations.

It warns that passengers must accept responsibility for any additional expenses they may incur, such as for food or accommodation, and that unaccompanied children are not permitted to travel while the advisory is in effect.
