Charlottetown party crashers face charges after allegedly pulling a knife
Alley Street party results in injuries and charges against two city men
Charlottetown police say two men face charges after allegedly crashing a party on the weekend where two guests were injured with a knife.
In a news release, policesaid theywere called to a residence on Alley Street at around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Police were toldthattwo men, unknown and uninvited, tried to enter the home.
Police allege thatafter being refused entry, one of the men kicked the door in, entered, and got in a fight with some of the guests.
Police sayone man pulled a knife and two of the guests received minor cuts.They didn't needmedical attention.
Police arrested the two men a short distance from the scene.
A 23-year-old Charlottetown man is facing numerous charges including break and enter, assault with a weapon,and possession of cocaine. He will remain in custody until a show cause hearing.
The second man, a 24-year-old from Charlottetown, is facing charges of being party to the offense of break and enter, and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.
He has been released from custody with conditions.
The matter is still under investigation.
