P.E.I. retail sales hit new milestone
Retail sales had another good month on P.E.I. in April, breaking $180 million in a month for the first time.

Retail sales had another good month on P.E.I. in April, breaking $180 million in a month for the first time.
Recently released, seasonally adjusted, figures from Statistics Canada show retail sales in April of $180,432,000.
Retail sales have been rising steadily over the last 12 months, increasing every month except July and October.
Retail sale are up 8.2 per cent over last April, when they were $166,764,000.
