Bell, Telus phone service restored in P.E.I.
Cell phone and landlines across the Atlantic region were affected Friday
Phone service is starting to be restored in the Atlantic region, following a service disruption Friday.
Bell Aliantlandline and cell services were down, starting at approximately 11:20 a.m. Telus, Virgin andKoodousers were also affected.
Bell said the outage was caused by "accidental damage to multiple fibre network links."
Service started being restored to some customers around 2:45 p.m.
Bell services back in Atlantic after reroute and repair due to accidental cable damage. We apologize to customers for the disruption.

Some businesses, however, reported difficulties due to internetissues that may be related.
Two flights were delayed at Charlottetown Airport due to communication problems.
