Winter storm warning covers all of P.E.I.
Driving conditions could be hazardous Tuesday
There is a good amount of snow in a low-pressure system heading toward Prince Edward Islandandthe wind will be enough to blow it around and cause some problems for travel.
Environment Canada has issued a winter storm warning for the whole province for up to 30 cm of snow and strong winds.
WINTER STORM WARNING now in effect for all three counties with @environmentca warning of 20-30 cm possible this evening through Tuesday in addition to strong north-northwest winds ramping up tonight. —@JayScotlandThe snow started Monday afternoon, and could be mixed with rain in Queens and Kings counties to start, changing over to full-on snow Monday night.
The wind will pick up through Monday with the strongest winds expectedTuesday.

—@JayScotlandCBC meteorologist Jay Scotland said gusts from 50to more than 80 km/h will be possible on Tuesday. The wind will be out of the northwest, and could bring elevated water levels, large waves and pounding surf, especially along the North Shore.
With the wind and continued snowfall, Scotland cautions that blowing and drifting snow will affect travel with poor visibility,especially on more exposed rural roads.
Scotlandforecasts general amounts between15 to 25 centimetres of snow through to the end of Tuesday, but Scotland said local amounts could be higherin some areas.
