Eleven buses serving Charlottetown, Stratford and Cornwall are getting new bike racks.

T3 Transit is installing the racks in coordination with the three municipalities. It is meant to promote active transportation and environmental sustainability.

"The new bike racks will provide an added level of service for our bike enthusiasts who may need transit for their route planning and scheduling," said T3 owner Mike Cassidy in a news release.

The company has produced a YouTube tutorial on how to use the racks.

Each rack can hold two bicycles.
