Woman charged with passing school bus while red lights flashing

Charlottetown police say a 25-year-old woman faces a charge in connection with a report Wednesday of a vehicle passing a school bus while its red lights were flashing.

Incident happened on April Lane at Maypoint Road

This week, Waterloo region police conducted a ride-along on two local school bus routes. On the two routes alone, police charged three people with failing to stop for a school bus and six more for distracted driving. (iStock )

Charlottetown police say a 25-year-old woman faces a charge in connection with a report Wednesday of a vehicle passing a school bus while its red lights were flashing.

Police say the incident happened on April Lane at Maypoint Road.

The woman, a Charlottetown resident,is scheduled to appear in provincial court at a later date.
