Islanders can now vote in person on electoral reform plebiscite

In-person voting is now underway for the P.E.I. plebiscite on electoral reform.

Polling stations open Friday until 9 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

In-person voting is now underway for the P.E.I. plebiscite on electoral reform.

Up until now, people have been able to cast their ballot online or overthe phone. Islanders can now vote in person at any of the 22 polling stations. Voters haveuntil 9 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.

To cast a ballot in person, voters will need their voter card and drivers licence or two pieces of ID.

Online and telephone voting remains open until Monday at 7 p.m.

The Elections P.E.I. helpline is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. everyday at 1-888-234-VOTE to assist Islanders in the process.
