4 P.E.I. schools closing two days early due to rezoning

Rezoning of four schools on P.E.I. will see those locations close two days earlier than the official last day, according to a posting on a school website.

Schools will close June 26 to accommodate transition planning

Rezoning of four schools in Charlottetown will see those locations close two days earlier than the official last day, Birchwood Intermediate School has posted on its website.

The post says the schools,Birchwood,Stonepark, Spring Park, and West Kent,will close on June 26 instead of June 28.

It says the early closure will help to accommodate the transition and program planning needed.

P.E.I.'s Education MinisterDougCurrieapproved the early closure, the post says.
