Free life-jackets available to borrow from Red Cross
'Were just trying to help out people to ensure that everyone is safe around the water'
The Canadian Red Cross is reminding people it has free life-jackets available for anyone heading out on the water this summer.
The jackets are free to borrow for up to two weeks, but donations are always accepted, said Alanna Green, P.E.I. Prevention and Safety Coordinator for the Canadian Red Cross.
"We're just trying to help out people to ensure that everyone is safe around the water," she said.
The life-jackets, from infant to adult XL, can be picked up at the Canadian Red Cross in Charlottetown during office hours, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
