New Brunswick ale sale brings pale response from PEILCC

N.B. Liquor is permanentlydropping the price of domestic 24-packs of beer on June 26 from $43 to $35.99.

Last year a summer promotion had a similar drop in price and saw people from neighbouring provinces stocking up before returning home.

The Prince Edward Island Liquor Control Commission did not respond with a drop in prices last year.

"The PEILCC can advise that it will again as in past be offering specials that in some cases will be even better than last year depending upon the supplier," said director ofcorporate services for the PEILCC Jamie MacLeodin an email.
