Ferry service restored between P.E.I., Nova Scotia

Northumberland Ferries' schedule is back to normal after having cancelled crossings this morning due to weather conditions.

Ferry service between Nova Scotia and P.E.I. is back on schedule.

NorthumberlandFerries' schedule is back to normal after having cancelled crossings Saturday morning due to weather conditions.

The ferry runs between Wood Islands, P.E.I., and Caribou, N.S.

The next crossing out of Wood Island is1:00 p.m and the nextcrossing goingbackis2:45 p.m.

Power outages

Power was out in roughly 20 communities across P.E.I. for a short period of timeSaturday morning.

Kim Griffin, a spokesperson for Maritime Electric, reported severaltrees down on lines as well as a broken pole.

Crews were dispatched and power is back on across the province.
