The Charlottetown Police Service says it has seized about $14,000 worth of illegal drugs after executing two residential searches this week.

A second search just before 2 a.m. Wednesday has resulted in a drug possession for the purpose of trafficking charge against another Charlottetown man.

According to police, a search of a Hillsborough Park home netted cocaine, crack, ecstasy, oxycodone, speed and cash. Police say the estimated street value of the seized drugs is about $8,000.
