Inquest called into 2023 death of patient at Prince County Hospital in Summerside

The P.E.I. Coroner's Officewill hold an inquest into the death of a woman who died while a patient at Prince County Hospital early in 2023.

According to a news release from the province, Mary Angela Arsenault died while involuntarily admitted in the hospital on Feb. 17, 2023.

The inquest is scheduled for Sept. 16 to 18, and will be held at provincial court in Summerside with Dr. Cyril Moyse presiding.

The news release did not contain any further information about the death.
