82-year-old Alberton resident robbed of cash at home

A 46-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a robbery of cash from an 82-year-old senior from Alberton. Police allege the incident happenedDec. 21 atthe victim'sresidence.

The accusedfaces charges of robbery, administering a noxious thing, and uttering threats, said Prince District RCMP in a written release Monday.

The accusedis in custody and will appear for a hearingJan.5inPrince County provincial court.

Police said they are continuing to investigate.
