Stompin' Tom Connors is being recognized with a star on the Canada's Walk of Fame in Toronto.
Connors sold more than five million records in his legendary music career
Canadian singer-songwriter legend Stompin' Tom Connorsis being recognized with a star on Canada's Walk of Famein Toronto.
The New Brunswick born and P.E.I. raised music iconis hailed as Canada's unofficial poet laureate, after writing more than 300 songs about the country most notably, The Hockey Song, Bud the SpudandBig Joe Mufferaw.

Connorsdied in 2013. He sold more than five million records in his iconic music career andisone of six Canadiansgetting their spot on Canada's Walk ofFame.

- Ted Rogers business and entrepreneurship

The ceremony will be at theLiberty Grand Theatre inToronto on Nov. 15.
