A strawberry grower in Fort Augustus has decided to pack things up after almost 40 years, but before he closes for good, he's donating what's left of his final crop to charity.

Keith Good says people can pick the remaining berries at Goodall Farms until around 5 p.m. Friday, with the proceeds going to the Children's Wish Foundation.

He said the organization means a lot to him, because his grandson was granted a wish three years ago.

"Until you have a child or a child in your family with a disability, no matter what the disability is, it really opens your eyes to see these are children like everybody else and sometimes it's hard for them to enjoy life as much as an able bodied child," he said.

"So having an organization like this and having these wishes and having things that they can do, it just brings joy and happiness to the child and also to the family."
