RCMP lay charges in West Prince tire fire

West Prince RCMP say they are already dealing with problems around the Halloween season, including a tire fire earlier this month.

There have been a few Halloween-related fires already, police say

West Prince RCMPsay theyare already dealing with Halloween problems, including a tire fire earlier this month.

An 18-year-old manhas been charged under the Environmental Protection Act for lighting tires on fire on Route 152 in St. Edward, on October 4,RCMPsaid in a written release Monday.

Therehave been a few of these fires already, said Cpl. Lisa Jones, but this is the only one in which charges have been laid.
