Power bump causes IT issues for UPEI staff and students

TheUniversity of Prince Edward Island has been able to get its website and Moodle back online after a power bump caused an equipment failure Sunday.

UPEI staff and students were unable to access the website and thesystem where students accesshomework and other resources.

The university's IT department was able to get the system working after four hours.

UPEI kept students and staff updated during the outage through social media.
