Re/Max report finds home sales up 69% in Charlottetown

If you're looking to sell your house, now might be a good time, according to a new report by Re/Max.

Some good financial news if you're selling your house, prices are up during the first three months of the year. That according to new numbers released by Re/Max .

The real estate company says the average selling price for a home in the Charlottetown was $223,321dollars, up six per cent from a year ago. The average sale price of a condominium was $143,545.

In Charlottetown, home sales in the first quarter of the year are up 69 per cent compared to a year ago.

Sellers are getting more or less what they are asking for with the majority of homes selling between 94 and 97 per cent of the asking price.
