A 56-year-old Ontario man died of his injuries after a single-vehicle crash in Stanhope Sunday night, say RCMP.
The victim's vehicle left the road, struck a hydro pole and overturned on Route 25 at about 11 p.m., say police.
They say the man, who was the lone occupant of the vehicle, may not have been wearing a seatbelt.
The North Shore Fire Department, Island EMS and the provincial coroner were on the scene.
The investigation into the collision continues.
