Two people have been killed in a head-on crash between two pickup trucks in northern Saskatchewan.

Two people have been killed in a head-on crash between two pickup trucks in northern Saskatchewan.

It happened at the crest of a hill on Highway 905, 92 kilometres northeast of Points North Landing, at around 8:40 p.m. on Wednesday, the RCMP said.

A man, 58, and woman, 52, who were both in the front seat of one of the trucks, died at the scene. They're from Black Lake, Sask.

Two other passengers in that truck, ages 32 and nine, were injured and are in hospital in Saskatoon.

The man driving the second vehicle, who was the sole occupant, wasn't injured.

Police didn't name the victims.

The accident is under investigation, the RCMP said.
