21-year-old man charged with impaired driving early Sunday

The collision occurred when the driver of a southbound car attempted to turn east onto Pasqua Gate from Pasqua Street. The southbound car collided with a northbound vehicle, which had the right of way.

A 21-year-old man is facing impaired driving charges after a collision in Regina's northwestSunday morning.

Police were dispatched to a two-vehicle collision shortly after 10 a.m. CST.

The collision occurred when the driver of a southbound car attempted to turn east onto Pasqua Gate from Pasqua Street. The southbound car collided with a northbound vehicle, which had the right of way.

The southbound vehicle rolled near the east median of the intersection. It was on its roof when police arrived andhad four passengers, one of whom was treated for injuries.

Once the driver was medically cleared, police arrested him.

He was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm and driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit of 0.08.

He also got a ticket for driving with an invalid licence.
