$25,000 reward offered for missing woman

A family of a missing woman from west-central Saskatchewan is offering $25,000 for information that brings her home safely.
A family of a missing woman from west-central Saskatchewan is offering $25,000 for information that brings her home safely.

Carol King, 40, was last heard from one week ago.

She lives in the town of Herschel, which is about 155 kilometres southwest of Saskatoon, and was planning to drive to nearby Rosetown.

On Wednesday, police found her car, a PT Cruiser,in a water-filled slough in an abandoned yard near the town.

Divers spentmore than aday searching the slough, but came up empty, so the search for King continues.

King's sister Brenda has flown in from Nova Scotia and said her family will pay the $25,000 reward if it brings Carol home.

"As each day passes, I just get sicker and sicker to my stomach," she said.

People have been searching on foot, using vehicles and in the air. The RCMP's major crimes unit is investigating.
