All 7 accused in Pelican Narrows homicide now in custody

All seven people charged with second-degree murder in the death of a teenager from Pelican Narrows, Sask. are now in custody.

Hilliard Sewap Jr., 17, died after being found critically injured in a home in the northern village on Saturday morning.
Five adults and two youths were charged.

Earlier this week, only three adults were in custody and warrants wereissued for the other four.

Now, all seven are in custody.

The five adults charged include:

• Marcus Sewap, 19
• Cody Drake Custer, 22
• Trevor Charles, 28
• Robbie Lambert Creed Custer, 20
• Brandon Lee Matt McCallum, 18

The two minors can't be named under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
