Regina gasoline prices havejumped higher again although a litre is still cheap compared to a year ago.

A number of stations were selling gas for 89.9 cents a litre on Thursday, up a nickel froma week ago.

It's still a relative bargain, if one looks at prices from a year ago.

According to Gas Buddy website, the average price of regular gas in Regina was about $1.14in January 2014.

Amid a collapse in crude oil prices, the cost of gashad been plummeting since late 2014, bottoming out a few weeks ago when the average pump price was about 77.9 cents per litre.

There are still a few stations selling gas for less than 80 cents per litre, according to Gas Buddy.
