19-year-old dead after ATV rollover near Lanigan, Sask., high school

RCMP say a 19-year-old is dead after an ATV rollover in Lanigan, Sask., over the weekend.

Officers received a call about a serious ATV side-by-side rollover in a field just north of the LaniganCentral High School on Saturday around 9:15 p.m.

An 18-year-old driver of the ATV was rushed to hospital with serious injuries and a 19-year-old passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have not the released the deceased's name. RCMP say the investigation is ongoing and police will not comment on the cause of the crash.
