A Regina baseball pitcher's big break in the major leagues turned out to be short-lived.

Called up by Detroit Tigers Monday, sent back to Toledo Mud Hens Wednesday

A Regina baseball pitcher's big break in the major leaguesturned out to be short-lived.

However, Dustin Molleken's dream may not beover yet.

Molleken, 31, has played in the minors for 13 years but on Mondaygotcalled upby the Detroit Tigers.

Molleken warmed up in the bullpen, according to the Windsor Star,butdid not get to pitch in a game.

The Tigers optionedhim back to the Toledo Mud Henson Wednesday.

It's still possible he could return to the Tigers at a later date.
