Beautiful images of sacred places in Saskatchewan

When early pioneers first came to Saskatchewan, one of the first public buildings they constructed was a place of worship.

Churches, synagogues and prayer houses soon dotted the rural landscape. Now many are disappearing.

Writers Frank Korvemaker and Margaret Hryniuk with photographer Larry Easton have documented many of these places of worship in a new book, Legacy of Worship: Sacred Places in Rural Saskatchewan.
