Jamie Singer, president of Rebellion Brewing in Regina, said he's been selling beer in growlers for a more than a year.

"We've sold thousands of growlers just out of our tap room alone," Singer said.

"So, knowing that and knowing what the rest of the country is doing, let alone our neighbours to the south, we're playing catch-up in a sense. It's a growing market."

It's a welcome trend from the customer's point of view, Singer said.
