Saskatchewan Party Leader Brad Wall has been elected in his constituency, Swift Current.

With about half the polls reporting, Wall had about 82 per cent of the vote and CBC News has projected he will win his seat.

If the trend continues, it would be an even bigger win than in 2011, when Wall received about 80 per cent.

The NDP's Hailey Clark was a distant second with about 16 per cent of the vote.

It's the fifth time Wall has won inSwift Current. His first victory was in1999.

It's icing on the cake for Wall, whose party is projected to win another majority government, according to CBC News.

In the last election, the Saskatchewan Party elected 49 members and the New Democrats elected nine.

This time around, there's a new electoral map with 61 constituencies.
