The University of Regina has released a plan to make itself more environmentally friendly in the next few years.

The five-year "sustainability" plan calls for changes to all aspects of university life.

Among the measures being proposed are:

  • a composting system.
  • campus-wide recycling.
  • carpooling.
  • car sharing.
  • more bike racks.
  • cutting greenhouse emissions.

The 2015-2020 plan was released on Wednesday.
