The Catholic Archbishop of Regina, Daniel Bohan, died fromcancer Fridaymorning, in the palliative care unit of Regina'sPasqua Hospital.

Bohan was born Nov. 8,1941 inYarmouth, N.S.He entered the Holy Heart Seminary in Halifax in 1963.

He was appointed the Archbishop of the Regina Archdiocese onMarch 30, 2005 byPope John Paul II.

Bohanwill berememberedfor his efforts in interfaith dialogue and building community bridges.

A newArchbishop willbe appointed by the Vatican. Until then, Rev.Lorne Crozonwill lead the Catholic church in the Regina archdiocese.

Bohan will be rememberedby his mother, three brothers, nieces and nephews, as well as lay people of the ReginaArchdiocese.
