CBC followers vote in No. 1 burger in Saskatchewan

The results are in.

CBC Saskatchewan's followers on social media and online readers have voted on where to get the best burger bite in the province.Nearly 2,300 people participated in our poll andand came to the conclusion that Saskatchewan's burger king resides in the town ofShaunavon, Sask.

With about 24 per cent of thevotes,theHarvest Eatery andFreshmarketearned the top spot.

Harvest Eatery and Freshmarket even has a famous fan in Canadian Olympic hockey champion, Hayley Wickenheiser, who is originally from the town and tweeted her support for the restaurant.

CBC previously brought you the top 10 burgers in the province, based on the many responses we received through our Facebook and Twitteraccounts.
