CBC's Morning Edition spotlight on Regina's Rosemont neighbourhood

Rosemont is an older neighbourhood in west central Regina. Just north of Dewdney Ave. and west of Lewvan Drive, there are many hidden gems you canfind here including bowling, restaurants, schools and lots of bike paths.

It's a larger neighbourhood as the communities ofRosemont and Mount Royal amalgamated in 1988.

Tara Shearer nominated Rosemont. She's lived here for nine years.

Shearer says she's close to a hardware store, groceries, great restaurants and daycare."[It's] exactly what you think of when you think of [the word] community, that's where I live," she said.
